May 27 - CORIOLANUS
Ralph Fiennes stars and directs one of Shakespeare's most challenging plays. Brought into a contemporary Eastern European setting, Fiennes stars as a General, convinced that power is his right, who finds conflict with himself when his people reject his rule. Also starring Jessica Chastain, Gerard Butler, and Vanessa Redgrave.

June 3 - LOLA VERSUS  *SPECIAL PRE-RELEASE*
Comedy starring Greta Gerwig, Zoe Lister Jones and Hamish Linklater. When Lola is ditched by her fiancé only weeks away from her wedding day she looks to her friends to join her on a series of adventures that she hopes will help her deal with her new found single life at 30.

June 10 - A DANGEROUS METHOD
David Cronenberg directs Keira Knightley, Michael Fassbender, Viggo Mortensen and Vincent Cassel in this dramatic thriller about the life and times of Sigmund Freud.  It examines the intense relationship between Freud and Carl Jung which ultimately resulted in the birth of psychoanalysis.



 

SUNDAY NIGHT FILM CLUB

It is a 'club' in name only and is open to hotel guests and members of the public. The concept is very simple - Dinner and movie for $50 per person OR cocktail, bar plate and movie for $30 per person. Dinner is chosen from a 3 course set menu. The movie is screened in the hotel's sumptuous 99 seat state-of-the-art cinema at 8pm. Dinner and Cocktails are served beforehand in The Crosby Bar. Each week a different film is shown ranging from a recent release to a classic. There will also be a short film screened beforehand.
